For the last couple of months I've been using 6 different flavoring, one at a time, to flavor my morning coffee which I drink about 1 to 2 hours before breakfast every day. One day a week I add no flavoring, just 3 packets sacchrin in a 20 ounce mug. That's enough caffeine for a day. The six flavorings are peanut butter, soy butter, sunflower seed butter (unroasted), honey, black walnut butter, and butternut butter. I collect and deshell the walnuts and butternuts myself. It takes about an hour to get enough to process in a one-cup processor. I make the sunflower seed butter from non roasted dehulled seed that I buy at a local bulk food store. The 20 ounce mugh takes only about 1/4 to 3/4 teaspoon of the flavorings, so a half cup lasts for a couple of months.
Having enough flavors so each is repeated only once each week makes for an enjoyable cup of coffee.
