If a recipe calls for an ingredient not available where you normally shop, you can try this list of sources for uncommon foods and kitchen tools.

Apple spinach squash pudding:
1 ounce apple
1 tablespoon (.2 ounce) spinach powder
3 ounces acorn or butternut squash
3 tablespoons (1 ounce) non roasted sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon (.5 ounces) sugar
1 teaspoon (.17 ounces) canola oil
2 pinches salt
3 eighths cup (3 ounces) water
Remove core and skin from apple to yield 1 ounce and cut into 1-inch pieces.

Remove seeds and skin from squash and cut into 1 inch pieces to yield 3 ounces.

Put into a 2-cup or larger blender:
1 ounce apple, 3 ounces squash, and 3 eighths cup water, 1 eighth cup plus 1 tablespoon non roasted sunflower seeds, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon canola oil, and 2 pinches salt.

Process until smooth.

Put the mixture into a mixing bowl and add 1 tablespoon spinach powder and mix.

Divide the mixture equally in 3 3-inch microwaveable bowls.

Place the bowls opposite each other across the center of a microwave oven with at least 1 inch between bowls.

Heat until boiling hot, then long enough to firm, 8 minutes 40 seconds, using a 1000 watt microwave oven, 14 minutes 25 seconds in a 600 watt oven.
---------------------------------
Math:
Add 5 seconds for oven to begin heating.
Plus 25 seconds to heat dishes.
To bring to boiling: 8.87 ounces X 20 equals 178 seconds.
Total water is (.9(4 ounces fruit/vegetable) plus 3 ounces added water)) equals 6.6 ounces.
Dry weight is total weight minus total water (8.87 - 6.6) = 2.27 ounces.
Water to leave in is 1 half of dry weight .5(2.27) = 1.14 ounces.
Water to remove is total water minus water to leave in (6.6 - 1.1) = 5.5 ounces.
Plus to evaporate excess water 46 X 5.5 = 253 seconds.
To replace heat losses to air: 253/60 times 12 is 51 plus 51/60 times 12 is 61 total seconds.
Assume final product will be 1 third water.
-----------------------------------
Add a side of some cereal grain based dish containing 1 eighth to a quarter cup grain for a complete light meal.

Bitter/sweet, a definite spinach flavor, thick pudding consistency.
