The Case of the Alternating Ice Sheets

The cited article suggests that the present decline in Artic ice is not due to global warming. Rather, decreasing artic ice is part of an often repeating cycle in which Artic ice increases and decreases in sync with Antartic ice. However, the changes are out of phase. When Artic ice decreases, Antartic ice increases.
